Building a smarter computing culture in Fargo, ND

Microsoft DreamSpark: tools for learning.

Microsoft DreamSpark.

I’ve noted before that Microsoft is a player in the “kids can code” game, and I just watched, from a distance, a 13-year old go through a “DigiGirlz” camp in Fargo.  They seemed to have introduced the girls to some tools for app development, game development, “Small Basic” for intro coding, and some presentation tools, all with the goal that they will continue to explore and learn on their own.  Sound familiar, Sugar friends?
