Happy Nerds – Programming Links for Kids

Happy Nerds – Programming Links for Kids.

Happy Nerds is one of the key links from the previous story and post.  The site is very simple: an annotated guide to programming languages and tools for kids, including Logo (Turtle Art) for Mac, Etoys, Alice, and Scratch. No mention of Sugar, perhaps because the links are organized by Windows, Mac, Linux, and Browser.  Will have to suggest Sugar and Sugar on a Stick to the site manager.

Having so many resources available does raise the media ecology question: can Sugar survive in this environment?
